After an upgrade some time ago, I spotted a few snippets that are just wrong:
it, bf and rm expand to \it{}, \bf{} and \rm{}, which are invalid uses of these commands, as already reported in Some TeX snippets don't expand according to config #1430, not to mention that using these commands in regular text is visual formatting, hence bad practice, so should not be facilitated
un expands to \un{} which does not exist in standard latex, and moreover looks like a shortened form of \underline, which just should never be used (visual formatting, awful typography, etc)
abs expands to an abstract environment with a spurious dot at the end
I admit that practices vary between users and that my remarks on bad practices are debatable, but I feel that this is precisely why a general purpose snippet package should avoid making such choices. Similarly, the list of math symbol snippets feels largely arbitrary and probably just a copy of the author's personal settings, I don't feel they belong here.
On the other had, snippets for general environments that include boilerplate code, like figures and such, are very useful and the number one reason for using snippets, in my experience.
