i'm using some custom thru-hole generic passives that i've made and i'd like to have the values printed on the silkscreen, however unlike how custom values behave in the schematic, when i add $VALUE to the package silkscreen it doesn't show the custom value, only ever the generic part name. this seems like an oversight.
