How to get instance of bot object for using bot.say()

I want to send a message to a user, i have his slack id, how do i get the bot object without any hear,on.etc events from the controller

In what context do you have the user's slack id? By convention I pass bot and message parameters to all of my skills as a minimum, so that they always have access to those things.
