Hope this is the correct place to get some help on the matter. I may be a rare user who does this, but I like to subscribe to my YouTube channels as RSS feeds and browse them in Feedly. If something looks good, I right-click and download the actual MP4. It's a quirky workflow, but that's how I like it.
For years, this worked great. Lately, it's been tough.
Very recently, with YouTube's latest changes, this behaviour no longer works. Here's a screenshot of the resulting not-working.
This system still works with other RSS feeds from other sites. Here's another screenshot where things work as designed.
I'm using Safari 9.1.2 on Mac OS X 10.11.6. Does anyone know what settings to configure or plugins to install?? I'm feel helpless here.
...
And if this whole thing happens to fix actual YouTube.com, that's even better.
Thank you for your help!

This is similar to my workflow as well, nothing wrong with it. However this feature stopped working for me long ago, but then again I think it was a v10 thing. I'm on v11 now and I can't even get it to work on the YouTube main page.
It's likely the Killer, without that being maintained to keep up with the changes on YouTube the functionality will keep breaking.
