Auto Complete does not work in ECL

The auto complete that is native to VS code does not work with the ECL code extension. you will notice in the 2nd image the variable "file_companyname" is a being autocompleted with the (ABC) source to the left of it. I should be able to code line after line with instant auto complete for the file i am working in.
