What's the error message (if any)? Because this upper bound on uproot is conflicting with numpy 2: scikit-hep/uproot5#1263
(this was reported to me by Adam Kobert)

There was no error message, but it just hangs there forever.
I just tried upgrading to uproot==5.3.10 and numpy==2.0.1 and the problem seems solved.

I pinned numpy<2 for now and released v0.4.17. Will look into updating to the latest uproot and numpy>2 on a longer term.
