Color errors only in map by errors and gaps

Errors still appear colored in the map by data types, though not in the sort view.

In the map by data types, what I'm seeing is that the records are all colored by their individual data type. The example error changes color subtly from from red to maroon. Is that what you're seeing, or is this something else that I'm having trouble recreating?
