Description

We are still using v4, which had its latest release in October 2023. Verify compatibility with v5 and upgrade the dependency if there are no compatibility issues.

Note: Automated and manual tests for Elasticpress don't pass currently.

Acceptance criteria

  • Investigate possible breaking changes
  • Implement upgrade to v5
  • Changes should not be backported to previous releases.
  • Update the documentation, and mention new features in Elasticpress.
  • Update the upgrade guide, and mention the possible need to reindex after the upgrade.

For Altis Team Use
