Highlighting stopped working entirely in new Emacs versions

I use the latest Emacs, from master, and I notice that the Scala mode is struggling to work with highlighting. I constantly get these messages in my messages buffer:

Error during redisplay: (jit-lock-function 1) signaled (invalid-function 3)

It's working for me. Perhaps if you give a bit more information. Which version specifically, which environment, etc.

Can't say I have problems anymore, it was ok in 28, not in master a few months ago, but I transitioned to use tree sitter highlighting, you likely should too and now in 29 PGTK on NixOS all smooth, except for some indentation with Scala3.
