Live streams not working on Safari

I tried on the demo page with a stream on Safari 14.0.
The sound works nicely but the spectrum doesn't move. I tried all configuration but anyone change it.

It seems visualization of live streams is broken in Safari's Web Audio implementation since 2018.
I'll keep an eye on this bug report, but apparently there is no solution at the moment.

I develop an update of your version for replace the spectrum for Safari by the same spectrum with random movement.
Are you interested by this update ? I can make a PR if you want.
This is just a patch waiting for Apple fix its browser and it's not a definitive version.

That's an interesting workaround, but I'd rather not display random data in the analyzer.
In the next release I'll add this bug to the known issues list, to warn Safari users.

I just tried the demo on 14.0 (looks like build 15610) and it works for me. I'm still running Catalina so that might have something to do with it.

@DrOverbuild Thanks for the report! Have you tried it with a live audio stream though? The problem is only with live streams, and I could confirm it even on Safari 11.

If you have the chance, please try this demo: https://audiomotion.dev/demo/minimal.html - Safari should play the audio but not display the analyzer.
