Some camera gps such as solmeta N2 will also tag the view direction taken from a compass. This information could be displayed with an arrow. I think it is useful to have it in a seperate layer and not directly within the thumbnail layer. So why not having a differentiation of types of PhotoLayers.

So the following config will result in a layer with arrows for viewing directions only.

hankos_vacation/l:Name Where the hell was Hanko/d:Title EPSG:4326 EPSG:31466/s:CRS /home/rubach/privee/200910_australia/ 100
