Does this project have any link to the timg on PyPI https://pypi.org/project/timg/#history v1.1.0 to v1.1.6 from the repository https://github.com/adzierzanowski/timg which has been packaged for conda-forge as timg?

I ask as someone looking for timg 1.3.2+ as a dependency for showing images at the command line - the two seem similar in scope, but from the version number it evidently must be this timg instead.

No, that is a different project, first time I hear about it.

It is unfortunate they registered timg first on PyPI, but given the inactivity and the fact that their version numbers don't seem to overlap much with yours, perhaps you can claim it?

I think you could make this argument, but have no experience in this process.

Note their first commit was Jan 18, 2018. Yours was much earlier (Jun 18, 2016) which would help with the prior art claim.
