Acceptance Test for User Ability to View Branches Map

Associated Issue: #112

Description

This test is designed to validate the user's ability to view the branches map. It applies to all types of users of the system.

User Flow

  1. User clicks on the "Example Branch" button to change the current branch.
  2. A pop-up window appears, requesting the user's current location to be viewed on the map.
  3. User allows the website to access their location.
  4. A dialog is opened where a map is displayed, with the user's location marked in red, and branch locations marked in blue/purple.
  5. A sidebar is shown, containing information about all branches.

Acceptance Criteria

  • 1. Upon clicking the "Example Branch" button, the pop-up window requesting the user's location appears.
  • 2. The user's location is accurately displayed on the map with a red marker.
  • 3. Branch locations are accurately displayed on the map with blue/purple markers.
  • 4. The sidebar contains relevant information about all branches.
  • 5. The map and sidebar are responsive and functional across different devices and screen sizes.

Notes

  • Verify that the user experience is intuitive and seamless throughout the process.
  • Check for any errors or unexpected behavior during each step of the user flow.

Test Results

  • Pass: All acceptance criteria are met, and the user flow is smooth without any errors.
  • Fail: Any deviation from the acceptance criteria or user flow indicates a failed test.
