in on popos, a ubuntu derivate:
$ cat /etc/issue
Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS \n \l

when i click on the ilert chrome plugin icon in chrome, it just opens one tab with the ilert page.

when i click on the operating systems notification, a lot of tabs. i suspect it opens each time 1 more tab then whenever i have clicked the last os-notification.

i also have a plugin in gnome to display the notifications until i click them. this might be related.

i'm just filing this issue for documentation; no expectations. could be that only i have this bug, so no stress ;-)

Hi @frisbee23

Thank you for reporting this.

The multi opening of tabs when clicking on a notification should be fixed.
I have removed the url from the top image as I assume due to some strange bug this results in the behaviour you are experiencing with being redirected to the alert list on opening the extension.

I have also ported the extension to our latest CI and improved the behaviour a little.

Its all in https://github.com/iLert/ilert-chrome/releases/tag/v0.2.0 :)
