I had a problem with NAV2 stopping due to costmap issue. The same map and initpose works perfectly fine if the room is cool. At first I thought maybe the issue was because the battery was down to 60% charge. I need to get a better oscilloscope but I think it's the photo detector in the Slamtec A-1 has much less sensitivity in a hot room. You would think 83F would be cool enough, nope.
I'm going to read up on the specs again. If I'm right, Fall will be here soon.
So if you started to play with LIDAR and ROS2, and NAV2 stops due to the Costmap having out of tolerance errors, then more than likely the environment your bot is on is too hot.
My hobby room is hot enough to make docking labored. The bot would scan for the dock ir beacon in a wider area and scan more often.
