To be sure -- are you running the same version of ROS 2 on both your robot and your host machine? The docking API changed between Galactic and Humble. |

Ok, I found my mistake. BUT ... it is a pitfall, to provide a main-thread, that is not compatible with the last stable version, which is galactic ..... |

Ok, I found my mistake.
One must NOT clone the main-branch of irobot_create_msgs. One must checkout the version of the robot and the host-syste, which is in my case galactic.
BUT ... it is a pitfall, to provide a main-thread, that is not compatible with the last stable version, which is galactic .....
