while prepping data release we identified a piece of functionality that i believe is fairly important that we don’t have in place. The RNA-Seq workflows are producing supplemental type analyses that we don’t want to be indexed in our file repo. these are for internal use only.
we don’t have any mechanism to prevent analyses from being indexed in argo based on their analysis_type , but we want to have the ability to configure the specific subset of analysis types that should be indexed.
Detailed Description
Analyses have the property: analysis_type.name
We want to add a configurable filter that will only index or begin embargo for files that belong to the list of allowed analysis types.
The file service DB should record analysis types for each file so that this filter can be applied to every request, and these files can be ignored.
