Make Light and Dark Theme switch functional

Hello,
Since our app contains a section to switch between light and dark mode but it is not working,
So I would take this opportunity to remove that light dark buttons in menu widget and add a switch instead of it along with light and dark mode of our app.

Kindly assign me this issue under contribute-a-thon'21.
