It would be great if you could provide a binary for Apple Silicon, so that people with current macs do not need to compile the software.

Hm, Fingertip runs fine on my M1...

I think @tbrtje meant an Apple Silicon native version. Rosetta 2 let's the Intel version run on the M1/M2 versions of machines
