Feature Overview
Research SDG and InstructLab SDG branches are not synced, and should be consistent in order to continue development of new features.

Goals
ilab SDG can leverage the existing capabilities of the research branch
ilab SDG can build new features on top of the latest developments by research team

Requirements (mandatory -_ Complete while in Refinement status):
ilab SDG works functionally after pulling changes from research on core features
CI testing to ensure existing features don't break with new changes

Done - Acceptance Criteria (mandatory - Complete while in Refinement status):
CI tests on all existing features pass after the two branches are synced

Background and Strategic Fit (Initial completion while in Refinement status):
Research SDG branch has new features that ilab SDG can leverage. Moreover, separate code bases increase tech debt for future development.
