Given the new "Journal" fields on the RDM upload form, it might be useful to help out with filling the form out by autocompleting from a Journals vocabulary.

• Data model would be pretty similar actually to a usual bibliographic record, maybe with a requirement on having an ISSN?
• We could populate the vocabulary from the following resources
  • DOAJ
  • Sherpa Romeo
  • ISSN International Portal: https://portal.issn.org/ (ISSNs,ISSN-L,PIE-J standard)
    • ISSN has a list of Journal Title Abbreviations
  • Web of Science has a list of Journal Title Abbreviations, not sure if it's useful
    • From Tom Morrell: The WOS list breaks a lot….we have mirrored it and get a lot of traffic to our website that way
• ISSN issues: You can only get one if you’re already a publisher, so not good for new publishers.
