I made the scheduled task adjustment. If there is a recurrence, I'll report back. Can I always run it in debug mode? If so , how? Maybe like this? C:\Windows\System32\schtasks.exe /run /TN "Volume² Autorun" -debug I figured that it might make it easier to report If notice an issue. EDIT: Now that I made that scheduled task change, the Volume² interface pops open every 10 minutes. |
It just happened again. I've probably mentioned at this times in the past. I actually have to click on the systray icon and open the settings to get it to work again. I don't have to do anything in the settings, just open the interface, like an using on/off button. |
I think here is solution |
ok, I have it set. Happened twice today. Should I also have it set to run as administrator? |
With Restart the hooks every 500 ms enabled, the settings window has popped open twice. |
Seems like I final have it under control, or at least it's behaving normally for a while now. v1.1.9.466. I'm not using either of those schedules task or volume2 settings suggested earlier, and neither the vollume2 or volume2 debug shortcuts is set up to use a scheduled task. If anything changes, I'll let you know. Thanks |
Still happening regularly. Before I continue, I don't know if this is a factor, but my TV is also my computer monitor. It seems to occur sometimes when I switch back from the TV to the computer. I'm just wondering if it's related to the use of the TV remote control volume button. However, I just discovered something new. Now opening and closing the settings interface no longer reactivates things. The volume just got disabled after switching between TV and computer. The app was still visible in the systray, but the mouse had lost contact as far as being able to operate the volume controls. No response to my mouse scroll on the left screen edge. I then right clicked the systray icon and chose "mute on/off". I went back to the left screen edge, and it was now operating normally, although it was colored purple, muted. I went back to the systray and once again selected "mute on/off" and the volume was unmuted, green indicator. |
Windows 10
I was using 1.1.8.465 Beta until today. Lately, about once a day, it shuts down and must be reopened.
I just downloaded v1.1.9.466. Is there a way to have it automatically launch at windows startup in debug mode? Or should it not be regularly running in debug mode?
BTW, it's a little confusing that there is no download link on the main release page, as with the previous versions on that page. Maybe there should be an indication to click on Volume² 1.1.9.466 link to be routed to the down;load.?
