The "Document" upload form for the Scholar module currently cannot be customized without code modifications. The default form only meets one use case and does not address possible requirements of individual institutions, such as license agreements, different version types, etc. For example, it does not really work well with theses right now. It would be interesting to consider new configuration options and ways in which we could build in more flexibility for this feature.
Emily: Would it be useful to create some use cases that flesh out this idea? I wonder in terms of licensing agreements if it might be useful to have a module like Embargo that can be applied to various content models. For example, if you have the License Module where you can customize licence agreements that can be applied to any content model. I'm not sure what that would look like but would it then create a next on upload where the user could then check off the license. Just thinking out loud...
