Newspapers SP - when you select a year below the fold, nothing happens

Needs a little explanation...

In Newspapers Solution Pack, there’s a long list of years on the left (it goes waaaay down) and a list of available months on the right (screenshot below). if you’ve scrolled down “below the fold” and click a year, then the list of available months changes - but you don’t see that anything happened because it’s way back up at the top of the page and out of the viewframe. Solution could be to have the “available months” appear beside the year that was clicked, regardless of where on the page that year is.
