Describe the bug
Existing Amazon S3 bookmarks are no longer allowing file downloads
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to bookmarks
Click on existing S3 bookmark
Scroll down to file
Double-click to download file
See "Failure to read attributes of ..." error
Expected behavior
"Failure to read attributes of ..." error when attempting to download
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS: MacOS 14.7.1
Version 9.1.1
Log Files
Additional context
This same issue came up for our entire 6 person team this week. I suspect it's when our corporate IT forced everyone to auto update to the latest Cyberduck version.
I have found a workaround that works for some people but not others. For some people I can get it to work again by generating a new AWS key and a new Cyberduck bookmark. I can see in the change logs that in 9.1.0 a bug was fixed for Access files with double-byte character in key in #13407. This might be able to explain why sometimes the workaround works and other times it doesn't?
I have tried downloading an 8.x version of Cyberduck but that didn't reliably fix the issue. I think it might be saving the bookmark incorrectly with the new version, and that regardless of what version I use to open a bookmark it'll still have issues.
