Add Omnipod Dash integration (please) #196
Comments
+1, direct connect with Dash is a compelling capability. The ability to lose a RL/Orange/etc. combined with Dash now being a standard/widely available pump makes this very appealing. Would love to try FAX, but for now am sticking with alternatives that support Dash directly. |
+1, would be very welcome. |
+1 please |
Yes PLEASE! |
Please🙏🙏🙏 that would be a game changer🙏 |
This would be really great! Currently using Free APS and considering to switch to Free APS dev with Dash support instead of Free APS X. If FAX would have Dash support I would directly switch over to FAX. Thank you Ivan for all of your efforts! |
Same here - with Eros pods possibly stopping production at end of 2023, it would become a must have feature pretty fast, and since loop has dash support, it would perhaps be possible to consult them, or maybe port their implementation? |
@Lasse-Fisker You should really check out the work that has branched of of Ivan's work. |
Oh, forgot to mention, full Dash support! |
That looks awesome! 😄 Although I can't really see discussions on developments on crowdin - isn't that just for the translations? Do you know if it supports libre (1 / 2) as well? Same as Ivans fax? 🙂 |
Check out the discussions on the Discord server as to what is supported,
but if you are looking at Jon's fork, check out the bdb branch ... the
Crowdin is just 'language translations', while everything gets folded
into and released via the bdb branch itself ...
In terms of Libre 1/2 support ... I'm a Dexcom users, but I believe Jon
is using Libre2 (EU) with this, while Libre2(US) is not supported by
anyone that I'm aware of ... the US version uses a different security
protocol then the EU, or something to that effect ...

That makes sense, thanks for the heads up :) I'm in the eu, and have run Libre 2 sensors with free aps x, so it should be all good 👍 |
Just as an FYI, but this code base has been dead / unmaintained for over a year now ... this project was forked to, and renamed as, iAPS, where all current development is being done. I heavily recommend to anyone still using FreeAPS X, migrate to the maintained code base, where features are being constantly added, and bugs are constantly being fixed. High probabillity that the bug / issue reported above has long been fixed. |
It would be a great addition to FreeAPS X to support Dash as AndroidAPS, Loop and FreeAPS have.
