Hello,

This is a great extension and perfect for our P&L reporting. On our reporting, we would like to extend this to have more than 9 expressions. I have seen the steps you have provided on the Qlik Branch page to amend the JS file to increase the number of expressions, and after making these changes though I have the ability to add a new measure on the Measures tab, the measure itself doesn't show up on the table. Could you please help ? (I am currently using this on desktop and would like to deploy on Enterprise once development is complete)

Thank you!

Hi Shobana

This workaround keeps working, I've just tested it again, once I've updated the extension to let it work with recent QS versions (color-picker is no more an integer but an object).
I've just created a P&L with 16 measures.
Verify that:

  • You changed the number of measures
  • You changed the buffer of the interface:
. modify with, up to 20 (insted of 10)
. and then modify the height (500 insted of 1000)
(as the buffer needs to be an array with a maximum of 10.000 cells)

Once it's OK, remember the changes won't take effect in your old P&L objects, you'll need to create your P&L visualization again.

PD : Shobana, this is free software, as it is and without support, that's a present from my part to the community. I'd appreciate if you could sent me a private mail just mentioning which Qlik customer is using it, or I won't be able to justify the time spent to answer in the future, thanks!

Hi Ivan,
Thank you for the detailed response. It still didn't work when I tried to add the extension to an app that already had another copy of the P&L Smart object in a different sheet. However it worked when I created a new app and then started using the extension from there.

I will drop you a note with the details that you have asked for. Once again, thanks for the extension.

Cheers!
