it would be very nice to have the priha jar released to maven central repo, so it can be used by any ivy/maven/gradle project without having to set up a custom repo.
Yup, this is doable. Once I get enough free time that is...
(I'm already releasing Speed4J to maven central, so I am familiar with the process; I just need to apply permission to release org.priha artifacts as well.)

There's no need to mavenize the project, and there's a concise guide describing all the necessary steps to release any OSS project to the maven central at http://theholyjava.wordpress.com/2010/02/07/releasing-a-project-to-maven-centr/
