Such an application can be used to tell kustomize about the various fields inside of cert-manager CRDs.
People would use it when they're kustomizing their own e.g. Certificates

Useful for e.g. a cloudflare secret token ref. https://cert-manager.io/docs/configuration/acme/dns01/cloudflare/
