Thanks for publishing this project. I am using https://buildapks.github.io/buildAPKs/ to build apps on smartphone, and on some devices, especially newer ones, the compass always points to the top of the screen. Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

I'm afraid I don't know - this project is very old and the Android API's have moved on a lot since then. I unfortunately no longer have the capacity to try and fix this, and will archive the project.
