Hi,

Can statsd_ganglia_backend sent data over multicast like ganglia gmond?

I just made an adjustment to node-gmetric which should add support for multicast:

jbuchbinder/node-gmetric@c715d2d

This means that the statsd-ganglia-backend would need to call send_broadcast instead of send to enable this.
