Summary

The following items are currently using Ubuntu 22.04 and should be upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04:

Note: previous Ubuntu campaign for 22.04 is still in progress in #2982 for 2 hosts: updates.jenkins.io (pkg.origin.jenkins.io) and puppet.jenkins.io machines. These 2 machines are NOT in the 24.04 scope!

Update: this campaign will most probably be delayed because of the Ubuntu 24.0 + arm64 bug found in 👍

Build is going further, but it fails with the following error:

Can always use wget as a short-term workaround, but yes https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curl/+bug/2073448 is a pretty serious bug. A bit shocking to me that it hasn't gotten more visibility. Unfortunately I don't have any connections with people in the Ubuntu community.

Delaying until end of year as we do not have any urgent need: docker-packaging has been done.

Note: we might have some Docker images updates along the line, but no blocker.

Let's wait until the https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curl/+bug/2073448 bug is fixed at least.

I see you are affected by the curl bug as well :(

Could you add some comments to the bug on launchpad?
That's the least we can do to show that multiple folks are affected.
