We have the devbox global pushand devbox global pull, which are awesome.
I just wish I could fully delete and clean down machines all the way also, because it makes it easier for do Testing of DevBox itself if I can fully clean down DevBox and Nix.
It will also be useful with fleet management.
I assume that its not going to be possible to delete the CLI, when we are deleting the CLI ?
So then a dedicated golang binary that does it will be a good idea. If the binary is floating around who cares afterwards.

What problem are you trying to solve?
I have to uninstall using batch scripts from https://www.jetify.com/devbox/docs/faq/#how-can-i-uninstall-devbox and then https://nix.dev/manual/nix/2.18/installation/uninstall
What solution would you like?
On the Cli an uninstall command for each.
