Is the protocol being worked on any more? I note that clearskies_core is now abandoned.

Hi @voltagex. I did some work on simplifying the protocol a few months that would remove the esoteric TLS mode requirement (switching back to the well-supported RSA modes) which would make an Android version of the protocol a lot easier, since the Java TLS libraries would be sufficient. That work in progress is in the "simplify" branch.

I haven't had much time to spend on clearskies lately but I've left the protocol up in case it is useful for someone else, at least as a starting point. I intend to do some more cleanup and then rework the ruby proof-of-concept to use the latest protocol to make sure that it's viable.
