The JFrog CLI binaries are signed for the RPM, Debian, and Windows binaries (reference) but are not signed when downloading the CLI binary for MacOS. Some organizations require signed binaries as part of their security enforcement and therefore it would be good to provide signed binaries for Mac users as well.

  1. Download the jf executable using cURL (curl -fL https://install-cli.jfrog.io | sh)
  2. run codesign command on the downloaded binary:
$ codesign -vd jf
jf: code object is not signed at all
