When entering Chinese in the software, the first letter is by default recognized as an English character and is not considered part of the pinyin.

When I enter Chinese, the first letter is by default recognized as an English character and is not considered part of the pinyin. However, when I delete it and re-enter, it returns to normal. I tested this on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems, and the software version I am using is 24.7.8.

For example, the pinyin for 上海 is "shanghai." However, on the first input, the software automatically treats the initial letter "s" as English and only considers "hanghai" as the pinyin.
