I have searched the issue tracker for a feature request that matches the one I want to file, without success.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I like using dark modes for most of my daily apps, but drawio dark mode is not really great to use. Current implementation is basically a negative of what's in the window, the plate and the diagrams would be hard to read in this setting.
Describe the solution you'd like
I like how the microsoft approach this in office 365. There is a switch when using dark mode in office word that can separately change the paper alone to original white color instead of negative of the original. To be fair the white words on black background is really hard to read.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Not really, the idea only occurred to me recently. A possible alternative maybe using a softer gray color instead of the current hard black.
Additional context
This is the hard black dark mode of the office word, which is very similar to the current approach of drawio.
This is the optimized office word dark mode
