Annotation names containing '.' break list_annotation_names

list_annotation_names uses split() to determine the annotation name and extension. If there's more than one '.' in the filename (i.e. the annotation has been written with a '.' in it, e.g. my.annotation, generating my.annotation.json in the backend), this breaks.
