Does this potentially work on Microsoft IIS or Apache2 for windows?

Because it wasn't built with windows in mind, I'd imagine there are cases where the path handling is explicitly POSIX-based. There may also be gems with missing Windows binaries.

Can you clone this repository and run bundle install? If it completes successfully on your Windows computer, ensuring compatibility may be easy enough.

It's worth noting that munkitools is OS X only, so you'd need to generate the package manifests manually and upload them with each package.
