It might be useful to create a text file with all the different parameters every time you create a new dataset file. All the necessary info to recreate the analysis. For example

  • Date
  • The names/paths of the files that were used when creating the project
  • Type of analysis
  • Databases
  • Variables
  • Max missing features
  • R/MetaboAnalystR/MetaboShiny/etc. versions
  • etc.
