Timesheet View

Just adding to the others. I've been searching for something like SP for a while that has time tracking, loose integration with my works issues system (Jira) and also takes account of the productivity/mindfulness side of things too. I love it so far.

The issue I have is that I need to log time for work for our timesheet/customer billing and also that I work best when I can visualise the work day as slots - that way I can immediately see when parts of the day are missed and go back and fill them in.

I'm currently using Toggl Track, which is great for the timesheet view, but poor with the Jira integration and poor on the mindfulness side of things.

Is there any movement in developing such a view? I see a few others have mentioned similar too #2476

Looks like the data for total work time would need to use a collection with start/end/duration. Appreciate not doing that keeps the data size small, is there data size limits to consider?

I'm a software engineer and although not too up to speed with Electron, I'd be happy to work on this feature if it has support.

Hey there! In the current model time is only tracked on a time spent per day basis. So what you ask for, is currently not possible unfortunately.

It would be good to know your thoughts on if it was introduced, would it cause other issues or id the feeling that introducing it would just make things way too complicated?

Not sure if I understand you correctly. You want to know, if we might change the model to a more granular approach? If so, yes this would make things to complicated and also be problematic for syncing since it will require much more disk space.
