Local file sync on Android creating .txt extension. Breaking sync. #3782
Comments
Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding! |

I'm having this exact same issue/behaviour. Android 15 MacOS 15.0.1 local file sync using syncthing |
Can confirm on Android 14 as well, latest version from playstore, also using syncthing |
This will be fixed with the next release. Thanks for reporting! |
I searched for an existing issue and did not find anything.
Your Environment
Android 15
SuperProd version 11.0.0_L1A from Play Store
Windows 11
SuperProd version 11.0.2
local file sync using syncthing
Expected Behavior
Windows and Android stay in sync. This has worked fine in the past.
Current Behavior
Windows creates "MAIN.json" and "ARCHIVE.json" in the sync folder. Android creates "MAIN.json.txt" and "ARCHIVE.json.txt" in the sync folder. They do not sync since they are using different files.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
I made sure I had the most recent versions on both Windows and Android. I tried disabling sync, restarting the application, and re-enabling sync. I also tried disabling compression. None of these steps helped.
