Static assets are published to the jsr along with the source code. How can they be read at runtime

My package depends on some static assets, and I was trying to get their paths from import.meta.dirname. Because I need to read them at runtime. But I noticed that when importing jsr packages, import.meta.diname doesn't exist. Is there any way to read them other than using deno verdor

For example, I published the following directory. I want to read assets/index.html from mod.ts

- assets
  - index.html
- mod.ts
- deno.json

It seems that deno vendor will not load these assets either
