It would be great to be able to link this as a submodule for the Nature Protocols paper, as we're already doing for the pilots-data-public and the pilots-cpjump1-data repos

I think so. Since all the data in this repo is essentially the same as that in pilot-cpjump1-data except that it is aggregated differently, I don't see any reason we can't.
