Via docker/setup-buildx-action and docker/bake-action there's direct integration with Actions' caching backend. However, it doesn't seem this repo's technique is picked up when setting *.cache-from=type=gha and *.cache-to=type=gha. Have you experimented with leveraging Rust and Buildkit via Actions?
