cilium looks like an great cni/ingress/service mesh alternative

Cilium 1.16 support kubernetes gateway api 1.1 for ingress and service mesh
It can replace current flannel+traefik+servicelb+kube proxy+kube router.
In general, ebpf based cni has better performance than iptables and gateway api is a unified model for ingress and service mesh.

Could k3s can support cilium natively as an alternative to current offerings or at least make it trivial to use cilium
