PyRGB 🎨

A simple command-line rgb color converter written in python 3

Features

This script can :

  • Convert a color between 8-bit decimal, normalized decimals and hexadecimal formats from text input
  • Show a color picked from a portion of the screen in the aforementioned formats*
  • Display the color in neat little blocks if your terminal supports full color !

* Assuming you are on linux and your window manager runs on an X11 server or Wayland !

This script can't :

  • Brew cofee
  • Spawn cats at your demand for your utmost pleasure
  • Solve geopolitical conflicts around a raising thermonuclear war

Use rgb.py -h to get detailed help on how to use its features !
