Revive of the repo

Hi,

I see regained interest in this repository and recent work on the code.

Almost two years ago, I looked into this project for a SMS case I had to solve. Because I couldn't get it work, I posted on the mailings-list. That sounded as the best way to reach out. Due the lack of reaction, I concluded the project was dead and didn't put any interest in it anymore. Until now I see a reaction on a pull request of myself.

I'm happy to read who is working on it and how the project is evolving. My PHP skills improved in the last year, but can't promise to put a lot of effort in the project. Anyhow, maybe good to get to know the community behind.
