I have done some modifications on your work, upgrading the postgresql to 14.2 and jdk 11. Now it run PG 8.7 on my Mac.

tries it on my mac with 8.7.2 but got following errors when starting postgressql-backend:

pega-postgresql-backend | /usr/local/bin/docker-entrypoint.sh: running /docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/00-setenv.sh
pega-postgresql-backend | /docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/00-setenv.sh: 2: source: not found
pega-postgresql-backend exited with code 127
