It appears the openstreetmap.org endpoint for uploading may have been killed off this past week or so as my waylens has stopped uploading. I understand that Grab has no intention to support the waylens anymore but I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to update the endpoint or manually upload the files from the sd card?

Hey @joeybab3
Can you be specific of which endpoint are you using?

api.openstreetcam.org should work.

I'm using whatever the endpoint in the waylens camera is. The only thing it shows is openstreetcam.org but it no longer uploads data

Seems like it was some sort of issue with the authentication, reset the camera but now it does not ever get a token to upload so it looks like it is the end for auto uploads from the waylens. Still would like to know if there is a script or something that can upload the tsv files and whatever other data comes off the camera onto the sd card manually.

Hi @joeybab3 could you provide the error message or which API are you using to upload?

I am attempting to use the waylens camera. The error message is that the token is invalid and to use the app to authorize but when logging in on the waylens horizon app it does not do anything anymore.

I am asking if there is a way to manually upload the ts files or whatever data the camera exports on the sd card

I'm having the same issue. I would still like to upload my captures even if I have to do it manually.

Looks like some people looked into this idea already a while ago, but nothing came of it. kartaview/upload-scripts#54

I might reach out to some of the telenav folks who are mentioned in some of the docs to see if they could offer any insight

Did anyone manage to get a Waylens to upload photos? We also are struggling and have the same "Invalid Token" message. cc @Gwrath

I haven't gotten anywhere with it. What would be ideal is for someone to fix the invalid token problem, but I don't think that is very likely at this point. There is a converter somewhere to make the files usable, but I don't know where in the chain it is.

I think unfortunately since they killed the project we are likely stuck with the waylens in the state it's in...

No one had figured out how to script the upload yet?
